WE SAY A FOND FAREWELL TO POLICE SERGEANT LIVINGSTON, WHO AFTER 8 YEARS SERVING THE RESIDENTS OF MUMBLES HAS RETIRED, GOOD FORTUNE DURING YOUR RETIREMENT. HE IS BEING REPLACED BY SERGEANT WHITE. WE WISH HIM WELL IN HIS NEW APPOINTMENT.


MRS. WALKER, HEAD TEACHER HAS LEFT MAYALS PRIMARY SCHOOL TO TAKE UP A NEW POST WITH E.S.I.S WHICH IS AN ADVISORY FOR SCHOOLS COVERING THE OLD MID GLAM AREA.


CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OWNERS OF 'CHEERS' OFF LICENCE, WEST CROSS WHO RAISED OVER £750 FOR MACMILLAN CANCER RELIEF ON A SPONSORED WALK OF 22 MILES FROM WORMS HEAD TO BRACELET BAY AND THEY ONLY TOOK 7 HOURS TO COMPLETE THIS WALK. WELL DONE.

INCENTIVES PARKED!

Traffic Wardens are to lose incetives for issuing tickets. The Traffic Management Act, due for introduction next year is set to ban parking bosses from setting targets for the number of tickets wardens can issue also from offering televisions and holidays as a rewar.

OH! WHAT A PITY.
