IS LANGLAND BAY GOING TO BE STRIPPED OF ITS BLUE FLAG STATUS?

A report in the Evening Post, 7th August reports that "Surfers Against Sewage" said the beach was unable to comply with a Blue Flag requirement to warn the public about raw sewage spilling into the sea.

It is reported that a spokesperson for Welsh Blue Flag co-ordinator. Keep Wales Tidy, said: " when there is a pollution incident, local authorities take immediate action to let us know. We insist that water quality is posted on the beach and Blue Flag beaches have a beach warden."
