New Chair Elected
Mumbles Community Council 10th May 2011
Mumbles Community Council has a new Chairman. Cllr Linda Tyler-Lloyd has been elected by members of the Community Council to fill the role; which is the equivalent of the Mayor of a Town Council.
During her period as Chairman of the Development Committee, Cllr Tyler-Lloyd has worked with her colleagues to introduce historic apple trees to Primary Schools in the area and establish an Orchard in Clyne Gardens. She is currently working with C&CS to provide a scented garden on the sea front at Norton.
Linda is Warden to the Vicar of Llwynderw. Her hobbies include gardening and golf.
Cllr Tyler-Lloyd said: "Itis important that MCC stays alert to the problems facing the area of Mumbles at this time."
Cllr Tyler-Lloyd replaces Cllr Brian Arthur who has been Chairman for the last two years.
